In between the talking babies, aging rockers, fireworks and flag waving supermodels - the Chrysler #halftimeinamerica spot moved me (and most of the bar at Denver airport) the most. In fact after Dirty Harry delivered his message to the nation, I watched as a business traveller quietly applauded the 52” LCD screen. Applauded. When a spot is bigger than a product, more important than a brand and calls for a country to dust itself off and pull together, it transcends advertising to become something far more powerful. Nice work motor city, you made my day.
Tenspeed Hero is at it again. This time they gathered all of my Julie Krasniak photos and compiled them into one neat little post. Love this girl. She races her ass off every time. She had a little bad luck at Zolder with a crash on the second lap, but she never gives up and finished the race looking totally shattered. This was only her first full season racing Cyclocross so look for big things from this one…
The rippers over at See See Motorcycles have an amazing art show opening THIS FRIDAY the 9TH at their new-and-in-progress shop (which we’re lending a hand in designing)
21 HELMETS has an eclectic array of 21 artists, and we highly recommend coming out to see this one.

The hard core, the outlaw elite, were the Hell’s Angels… wearing the winged death’s-head on the back of their sleeveless jackets and packing their ‘mamas’ behind them on big ‘chopped hogs.’ They rode with a fine unwashed arrogance, secure in their reputation as the rottenest motorcycle gang in the whole history of Christendom.
